All Far Cry (That I Played) on Ryzen 5 2400G Without Graphics Card
No dedicated GPU? No problem—at least, that’s what I wanted to find out. I ran multiple Far Cry games on a Ryzen 5 2400G to see how they perform with just integrated graphics.
Far Cry (2004)
The first game in the series follows Jack Carver, a former soldier stranded on a mysterious island filled with mercenaries and dangerous genetic experiments. Featuring open-ended combat, vast tropical environments, and advanced AI, Far Cry set the foundation for the franchise’s open-world gameplay.
Far Cry 2 (2008)
Set in a war-torn African country, Far Cry 2 follows a mercenary hunting down the arms dealer known as "The Jackal." The game introduces dynamic fire propagation, malaria mechanics, and open-world exploration with realistic faction warfare and survival elements.
Far Cry 3 (2012)
Stranded on a pirate-infested island, Jason Brody must embrace the chaos to rescue his kidnapped friends. Far Cry 3 introduced skill progression, crafting, and one of the series’ most iconic villains, Vaas Montenegro, in a mix of action-packed gameplay and psychological storytelling.
Far Cry Primal (2016)
A unique spin on the franchise, Far Cry Primal takes players to the Stone Age, where they control Takkar, a hunter striving to unite his tribe in a prehistoric open world. Featuring primitive weapons, beast taming, and survival mechanics, the game delivers a fresh take on Far Cry gameplay.
Far Cry 6 (2021)
Set in the fictional Caribbean island of Yara, Far Cry 6 follows Dani Rojas, a guerrilla fighter aiming to overthrow dictator Antón Castillo. The game expands on the series’ open-world design with weapon customization, vehicles, and large-scale battles against the regime.
